With a competitive hourly salary ranging from $21 to $26 + Commission pay, this position offers an exciting opportunity to showcase your technical skills.

As a Service Technician, you will be responsible for providing top-notch service and maintenance for overhead doors, ensuring customer satisfaction with each repair. You'll be interacting with customers on a daily basis across all of our service areas, so you must possess excellent customer service skills. A person with experience using power tools and a fundamental knowledge of how electrical systems are wired and connected would be an ideal candidate for this position. Up to $5,000 sign-on bonus if you have prior garage door technician experience.

Total Compensation : $21 to $26 an Hour + Commission + Profit Sharing (Bonus Checks)

Compensation :

$21 - $26 hourly + commission

Responsibilities :

  • Calculate installation openings and perform site inspections for larger jobs
  • Complete a thorough inspection, make a precise diagnosis of any problems with the present system, and give the customer their options
  • Use software to take notes, create quotes, and send invoices
  • Be on time for all appointments, and put forth your best effort to satisfy customers
  • Participate in company meetings and adhere to company procedures

Qualifications :

  • High school diploma or GED required
  • Effective communication, listening, and teamwork skills are necessary
  • Working knowledge of electrical wiring and connections
  • Able to work with either power tools or hand tools
  • Ability to use a measuring tape, as well as proficiency in math and problem-solving, are essential
