Azure Infrastructure Engineer

Location : Full-time Remote (with occasional on-site requirements)

NIRA Inc., a dynamic and fast-growing women-owned small business based in Washington, DC, is looking for an experienced Azure Infrastructure Engineer to join our team. In this role, you will design, implement, and manage secure, reliable, and cost-efficient Microsoft Azure environments for our clients. The ideal candidate will bring a robust background in cloud infrastructure, networking, and hybrid architecture, with hands-on experience in both Azure IaaS and PaaS services.

Key Responsibilities :

Architecture & Design

• Develop and maintain cloud infrastructure architecture for multi-phase migration and modernization projects.
• Design and implement vNet peering, subnets, and gateways to support seamless hybrid integration between on-premises systems and Azure workloads.
• Recommend and deploy key Azure services, including SQL Managed Instance, App Services, Blob Storage, Monitoring, and Security tools.
