The Roads and Highways Practice is seeking an Engineer-in-Training in Coeur d'Alene, ID.
What You'll Do
Key Responsibilities :
- Works with project teams on all aspects of projects, including project set-up, drafting, design, quality review and quality assurance, project coordination / organization, etc.
- Prepares and designs improvement plans for a wide range of transportation projects
- Prepares and / or modifies construction documents, reports, specifications, cost estimates, and designs for projects
- Analyzes maps, reports, drawings, as-builts and test results for design projects
- Assists with post design construction support services to respond to contractor RFI's, submittal reviews, as-built preparation, and field observations
- May perform construction inspection on project-specific basis
- Coordinates work with other disciplines and offices on multi-discipline projects
- Assists with utility coordination including conflict analysis and coordination with public and private utility companies
What You Bring
Required Qualifications :
Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering0-4 years of Civil Engineering experienceExperience with Microsoft Office (i.e., Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)Good communication skills (written and oral)Ability to communicate technical concepts to technical and non-technical audiencesFamiliar with Civil 3D and / or Bentley OpenRoadsPreferred Qualifications :
