Position Overview
The Senior Vice President (SVP) of Wealth Management is a seniorleadership role responsible for overseeing the strategic direction, growth, andprofitability of the wealth management division within the Bank. The SVP willlead a team of wealth management professionals to deliver comprehensivefinancial planning, investment advisory, trust services, and wealth managementservices to high-net-worth individuals, families, and institutions. Thisposition reports directly to the EVP, Community Banking Group Executive andcollaborates closely with executive management to drive business growth andclient satisfaction.
Role and Responsibilities
1. StrategicLeadership :
Developand implement strategic plans and initiatives to drive growth,profitability, and market expansion within the wealth managementdivision.Definethe division's vision, mission, and objectives in alignment with theBank's overall strategic goals and client needs.Provideleadership and guidance to the wealth management team, setting cleargoals and performance targets to achieve business objectives.2.ClientRelationship Management :
Build and maintain relationships with high-net-worth individuals, families, and institutional clients, serving as a trusted advisor and point of contact.Overseeand drive comprehensive financial planning and wealth managementconsultations to assess clients' financial goals, risk tolerance, andinvestment objectives.Reviewand customize wealth management strategies, investment portfolios, andasset allocation recommendations tailored to clients' unique needs andpreferences.3.InvestmentAdvisory Services :
Provideinvestment advisory services, including portfolio management, assetallocation, and investment selection, to help clients achieve theirfinancial goals and objectives.Monitormarket trends, economic indicators, and investment opportunities toidentify strategic investment themes and asset allocation strategies.Conductinvestment research and due diligence on investment products, assetclasses, and investment managers to support portfolio construction andinvestment decision-making.4.ClientAcquisition and Business Development :
Leadbusiness development efforts to acquire new clients and expand the Bank'swealth management client base.Developand execute marketing and sales strategies to attract prospectiveclients, including networking, prospecting, and relationship-buildingactivities.Collaboratewith marketing and business development teams to create marketingmaterials, presentations, and thought leadership content to promote theBank's wealth management capabilities.5.TeamLeadership and Development :
Recruit,train, mentor, and develop a high-performing team of wealth managementprofessionals, including financial advisors, relationship managers, trustofficers, and investment analysts.Fostera culture of excellence, collaboration, and client service within thewealth management team, promoting professional growth and associateengagement.Providecoaching, feedback, and performance evaluations to support associatedevelopment and ensure alignment with business goals and objectives.6.StrategicPartnerships :
OverseeStrategic Partnerships including Broker / Dealer, Trust Processing, AssetManagement, and various product partners.Ensureall Strategic Partnerships meet all corporate service standards,competitive expectations, and communications.Ensureall Strategic Partnerships meet all goals and expectations of the Bank.7.Relationship Management :
Build, cultivate, and sustain long-term relationships with high-net-worth clients, strategic partners, and key internal stakeholders.Act as a trusted advisor and advocate, ensuring exceptional service delivery and consistently high levels of client satisfaction.Leverage relationships to drive referrals, cross-sell opportunities, and expand the Bank's footprint in the wealth management space.8.Operations Management :
Oversee the day-to-day operations of the Wealth Management division, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives and regulatory standards.Drive operational efficiency through continuous process improvement, effective resource allocation, and the implementation of best practices.Collaborate cross-functionally with compliance, finance, technology, and other departments to maintain operational excellence and mitigate risk.9.Sales Management
Develop and lead sales strategies that drive client acquisition, revenue growth, and market expansion.Set clear performance targets and KPIs for the sales team, providing ongoing coaching, support, and accountability.Utilize data-driven insights to refine go-to-market strategies, monitor sales effectiveness, and optimize conversion rates across channels.Qualificationsand Education Requirements
Bachelor's Degree inFinance, Business Administration, Economics, or related field; MBA oradvanced degree preferred.Regulatory recommendedSecurity licenses, Series 7, 9,10, 65 preferred.Certified Financial Planner(CFP), Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA), or Certified Wealth Manager(CWM) designation preferred.Minimum of 10 years ofexperience in wealth management leadership roles, with a proven trackrecord of building and managing high-performing wealth management teams.Strong understanding offinancial planning principles, investment strategies, trust services, andwealth management best practices.Excellent leadership,communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to inspire andmotivate teams.Proven ability to build andmaintain relationships with high-net-worth clients and business partners.Knowledge of regulatoryrequirements and compliance standards applicable to wealth managementservices.Ability to work independently and as part of ateam in a fast-paced environment.Excellent attention to detail and organizationalskills.What Makes Fremont Bank Associates Thrive?

Salary Range
The hiring salary range for this position is $175,000.00to $225,000.00 annually, based on factors such as experience, skills,education, and internal equity. Compensation decisions are made inconsideration of these factors and in alignment with Fremont Bank'scompensation philosophy.
