Riverside Pediatric Medical Day Care are looking for a reliable Bus Driver to join our team in Trenton, NJ. As a Bus Driver, you will be responsible for transporting students to and from school and extracurricular events, following a scheduled route, and ensuring the safety of all passengers.

Your duties will include conducting pre-trip inspections to make sure the bus is in good working condition, observing safety and traffic rules during the journey, and maintaining order and discipline among students on the bus. You will also be expected to communicate effectively with students, parents, and school staff, providing outstanding customer service and addressing any concerns or issues that may arise.

This is a part time position working 5 : 45am- 9 : 00am & 1 : 00pm-5 : 00pm- No weekends

Job Requirements :

  • Proven work experience as a School Bus Driver or similar role
  • Clean driving record with no at-fault accidents or traffic citations within the last five years
  • Two or more years of experience working with children is preferred
  • Ability to carry out assigned routes on time

Job Responsibilities

  • Obey all traffic laws to ensure students arrive at their destination safely
  • Maintain a clean and mechanically sound bus at all times
  • Ensure the safety of all students when entering and leaving the bus
  • Assist students with getting on and off the bus as needed
  • Engage with students as they enter and leave the bus
  • Transport children and other passengers to and from school
