MIG Welder- 2nd shift

Job Description

Manual MIG welding of steel products.

General factory tasks (e.g., housekeeping, sorting, sweeping, etc.)

Operating of hand tools (e.g., grinder, clincher, hammer etc.)

Other duties as assigned by management

This position requires pushing / pulling and lifting / carrying between 10 and 50lbs repeatedly, the position requires constant standing, walking, bending, twisting, reaching and squatting.

Qualifications

Education :

High School Graduate preferred

Experience :

Must work well in a team orientated manufacturing and office environment.

Able to read, write and communicate in English

Basic Math skills required.

Knowledge of and ability to use basic tools (squares, clamps, grinders, tape measures etc).

Knowledge of and ability to use a MIG Welder.

Must be able to read Production blueprints

Must be able to read a tape measure to accuracy of 1 / 16

1-2 years’ experience in working in manufacturing environment

Certification :

OSHA 10 hour training is preferred but not essential.

Welding certification is preferred but not essential.
