Position Summary ModernMD Urgent Care is seeking skilled and certified Phlebotomists to join our growing team.

The Phlebotomist will be responsible for performing blood draws and specimen collection with precision and care, ensuring a safe and positive patient experience.

This role plays a key part in supporting our clinical team and delivering exceptional urgent care services.

Key Responsibilities Perform venipuncture, capillary, and other specimen collections accurately and safely.

Properly label, process, and prepare specimens for laboratory testing.

Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of phlebotomy equipment and work area in compliance with infection control standards.

Verify patient identity and provide clear instructions to ensure comfort and understanding.

Accurately document and enter patient and specimen information into the electronic medical records system.

Follow all safety, quality control, and HIPAA guidelines.

Collaborate with clinical staff to support patient flow and overall center operations.

Qualifications Certification :

• Current Phlebotomy Certification (required).
• High school diploma or equivalent required; additional medical training a plus.
• Previous phlebotomy experience in an urgent care, hospital, or outpatient setting preferred.
• Strong attention to detail with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment and maintain a positive, patient-focused attitude.
