MLJ is seeking a Procurement Assistant to join their team in Lower Manhattan.

Responsibilities :

Source goods & services

Manage the paperwork & process of sourcing goods & services

Ensure quality, cost effectiveness, and timely delivery of goods & services

Data entry

Once comfortable with these tasks, role will be expanded to purchasing of goods & services, negotiating goods & services, and managing vendor relationships. Will be responsible for maintaining accurate records of procurement activities and inventory control. As well as research new vendors.

Requirements :

High School Graduate (minimum), Responsible, Punctual, Good people communication (phone, and email) skills, Ability to use Excel, Ability to learn new software (CMiC)

Hourly Rate

$25—$27.50 USD
