Job Summary

The Nursing Assistant (NA) provides essential support and care to residents in a long-term care setting. Under the guidance of a registered nurse (RN), you will deliver resident-centered nursing care and assist with daily living activities, ensuring the highest standards of support. Key responsibilities include :

Providing personal care including bathing, grooming, toileting, and dressing

Monitoring and recording vital signs

Assisting with mobility and daily activities

Supporting residents with meals and creating a positive dining experience

Assisting nursing staff with procedures and documenting care

Maintaining cleanliness in living areas and assisting with wellness programs

Your role is vital in improving the quality of life for our residents. You will be accountable for following infection control policies and providing compassionate care.

Qualifications

High school graduate or GED preferred

Minimum age of 16; experience in long-term care is a plus

CNA certification required with enrollment in a training program for certification within four months

Must complete annual competency testing and continuing education

Valid driver's license may be required for specific roles
