Growing law firm in north Austin seeks a full-time attorney capable of practicing independently to serve the firm's business clients. Attorney will work in-person at our north Austin location. The attorney who fills this position will be responsible for managing a heavy docket of transactional business matters (e.g., business sales and acquisitions, contract negotiations, and various other matters typically encountered in a "general counsel" context).
The ideal candidate has 5+ years of experience, is ethical, courteous, committed to excellence, and eager for a fresh start in a fun environment. Experience in the following fields is a bonus, but not required : business litigation, securities, startups, venture capital, healthcare, or commercial real estate.

Because we are currently generating more clients than we can handle, we're seeking an experienced attorney who can step in and make an immediate impact by delivering exceptional client service and modeling professionalism to our growing team.
Daily Breakdown
70% Client work, such as drafting documents or communicating with clients / opposing counsel.
20% Client development, consisting primarily of meetings with potential new clients.
5% Strategizing with other attorneys.
5% Staff meetings, training, and occasional administrative tasks.

Qualifications
Texas law license and good standing with the Bar.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
