AEM Platform Maintenance & Support Specialist

Job Summary
A global leader in consulting services is seeking a highly skilled AEM Platform Maintenance & Support Specialist to support, maintain, and optimize an Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) platform. This role requires deep technical expertise in AEM (on-prem and cloud), including experience with Sling, JCR, OSGi, Dispatcher, and associated front-end and back-end technologies. The ideal candidate will ensure the stability, security, and performance of the AEM platform, and work closely with developers, DevOps, and business stakeholders to support both day-to-day operations and long-term platform evolution.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide day-to-day maintenance and operational support for AEM 6.5+ and AEM as a Cloud Service environments.
- Monitor and maintain platform health, performing routine updates, hotfixes, and version upgrades.
- Work with Adobe support and cloud service providers (AWS, Azure) to address system-level concerns.
- Document configurations, support procedures, and best practices.
- Communicate proactively with internal technical and business teams regarding system status, incidents, and planned changes.
- Contribute to platform performance tuning, security hardening, and long-term scalability planning.
Required Skills & Experience
Strong hands-on experience with AEM 6.5+ and AEM as a Cloud Service, including core concepts like Sling, JCR, OSGi, and Dispatcher.Experience configuring Dispatcher and CDN setups for optimal performance (e.g., caching strategies, invalidation rules).Familiarity with CI / CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Adobe Cloud Manager) and cloud environments such as Adobe Cloud, AWS, and Azure.Solid understanding of web application architecture and best practices for enterprise CMS platforms.Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure in a production environment.Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a collaborative mindset and ability to interact across technical and non-technical teams.Preferred Qualifications
Adobe AEM certifications (e.g., Adobe Certified Expert – AEM Sites Developer or Architect).Experience with Adobe I / O Runtime, Adobe Launch, or Adobe Target integrations.Familiarity with performance monitoring tools and log analysis (e.g., New Relic, Splunk, or Adobe Cloud monitoring tools).Seniority level
