Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Sr. Operations Manager to oversee our plant and field operations. This executive role will provide strategic leadership, drive efficiency, and ensure compliance across manufacturing, logistics, and installation functions. The Sr. Operations manager will play a critical role in scaling our business, optimizing processes, and fostering a culture of safety, accountability, and teamwork.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage all plant and field operations to ensure safety, quality, and efficiency.
- Oversee production scheduling, resource planning, and field service delivery to meet customer requirements on time and within budget.
- Implement and enforce compliance with all safety, environmental, and regulatory standards (OSHA, EPA, DER, SWA, etc.).
- Drive workforce development through hiring, training, performance management, succession planning, and organizational development strategies.
- Maintain preventive maintenance programs for equipment, vehicles, and facilities.
- Ensure effective inventory control and just-in-time (JIT) supply chain practices.
- Conduct regular inspections to monitor quality control, compliance, and operational standards.
- Prepare and deliver executive-level reports on efficiency, safety, and financial performance.
- Build strong relationships with customers, inspectors, and external stakeholders, representing Warrior Precast with professionalism and integrity.
- Foster collaboration across departments to ensure smooth operations and business growth.
- Champion continuous improvement and organizational excellence at all levels.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in engineering, construction management, business, or related field (or equivalent experience).7+ years of leadership experience in operations management, ideally within precast concrete, manufacturing, or construction industries.Proven track record of managing both plant and field operations.Strong knowledge of safety regulations, quality control programs, and residential / commercial building codes.Demonstrated ability to lead and inspire diverse teams while driving organizational development initiatives.Exceptional critical thinking, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.High level of honesty, integrity, and accountability in leadership practices.Excellent communication and organizational skills with the ability to adapt in high-pressure environments.Financial acumen with experience in budgeting and cost management.Valid driver’s license; ability to travel as required.
