About The Position

Job Title : Registered Nurse

Experience : Minimum 2 years of experience required.

License : Valid nursing license required.

Certifications : BCLS required. ACLS preferred.

Must-Have :

Management of dysrhythmias required.

Oxygen protocol management required.

Non-invasive airway management required.

Peripheral line care / management required.

Isolation precautions / PPE required.

Electronic charting experience required.

Description :

This position requires understanding and management of dysrhythmias.

The nurse will be responsible for oxygen protocol management and non-invasive airway management.

Experience in peripheral line care and isolation precautions is essential.

Electronic charting experience is necessary, specifically with a certain electronic health record system.

The nurse will be expected to activate rapid response team when necessary.

Management of drips and blood products administration is preferred.

Candidates should have experience in MS / Telemetry and Ortho trauma.

Willingness to float to similar units is expected.

Weekend work will be required every other weekend.

This role may involve working during emergencies, including catastrophic events.

Candidates must be available to work 2 out of 3 major holidays.

No requests for time off will be accepted during the first week of an assignment.

Candidates must be comfortable floating based on job description without restrictions.

Compliance with fatigue policy is required, limiting to 60 hours per week worked.

Modules may be required to be completed prior to the start date and annually.
