What You Will Do
- Provide mechanical engineering support for a specialty CAS, including integration and testing of the CAS power supply. Depending on skillset, responsibilities may include detailed mechanical design, earned value management, test design and execution, and systems engineering.
- Adapt responsibilities based on current organizational needs and skill sets.
- Work autonomously with limited oversight, demonstrate advanced knowledge of the control mechanism development domain, and coach / review the work of lower-level professionals.

Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience unless prohibited by local laws / regulations.Minimum of 6 years of experience in mechanical engineering or 3 years related experience with an advanced degree.Experience in mechanical mechanism design or flight control systems for aerospace applications.Qualifications We Prefer
Experience with aerospace control systems, including development and execution of verification and characterization tests and test programs.Experience collaborating with major subtier suppliers to achieve compliant design and test deliverables, including hardware.Experience using structured problem-solving approaches (e.g., Fault Trees, fishbone diagrams).Experience with Creo, Windchill / cPDM for TDP maintenance and support including peer review, change board processes, variances, supplier requests, and change notices.Advanced degree in Mechanical, Aerospace, Systems, Electrical Engineering, or Physics.Basic proficiency with MATLAB / Simulink for model development and data analysis.Experience working with and integrating hardware; systems engineering design and development.Experience with dSPACE Real-time test systems.Ability to estimate project / task level of effort and to collaborate with geographically distributed teams.Experience and / or certifications in Earned Value Project Management.Ability to articulate technical information to technical, non-technical, and management audiences (oral and written).What We Offer

Salary and Benefits
The salary range for this role is 82,000 USD - 164,000 USD. Benefits may include medical, dental, vision, life insurance, disability, 401(k) match, flexible spending, parental leave, PTO, holidays, and incentive programs where applicable.
