Responsibilities Position is based in the Med / Surg Telemetry unit of a community hospital with 240 beds Night shifts, three 12-hour shifts per week from 18 : 45 to 07 : 15 Patient ratio is 1 : 5 Care for post-cath patients and telemetry monitoring is required Epic is used for charting Regular floating may be required between departments, units, and facilities No on-call responsibilities Required to work 8 weekend shifts per 6-week schedule period (combination of Friday, Saturday, Sunday) Duties include caring for Med / Surg Tele patients and monitoring post-cath patients Charge RN assignments and holiday shifts may be required per unit needs Navy scrubs are required Drug screening must be clear to proceed, with specific retesting policies applying Labs must be completed within 48-72 hours of offer acceptance Pre-start modules (including EMR training) and additional orientation modules are required prior to beginning the assignment Maximum of 7 days of time off (RTO) permitted during contract Free onsite parking provided First-time travelers are accepted Requirements Active MO or compact RN license in hand at time of application At least two years of recent Med / Surg Telemetry experience, including a full year of in-specialty experience within the past 12 months with no employment gaps greater than 90 days Current BLS and NIHSS certifications Telemetry skills and experience with on-unit monitoring required Must reside at least 75 miles from the facility; local candidates are not accepted No travel partners accepted No pending licenses accepted; all licenses must be in hand References required : two from the past year (one from a supervisor, the other may be a charge RN) Benefits High Pay and Bonuses Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance with Day 1 Options 401(k) Plan Weekly Payroll Deposit Free Online CEUs Generous Housing Allowance Travel and Licensure Reimbursements Non-taxed Per Diem and Subsidy Traveler Rewards and Discounts American Traveler Job ID P-623024.
