Inpatient PMHNP Locums Job in Virginia

We are seeking a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) for an assignment in a facility located in a lovely town in Virginia. This is a full-time, short-term assignment with the potential to extend, offering a wonderful blend of professional impact and personal life balance.

Details / Requirements :

Start Date : Immediate

Duration : 3-6 months (with potential to extend)

Schedule : Monday-Friday, 8 : 00 AM - 5 : 00 PM

Hours : 40 hours / week (no overtime)

No weekends, holidays, or on-call duties

Termination Notice : 30-day notice required

Autonomous PMHNP license (required)

Experience with acute adult inpatient populations

Skilled in comprehensive psychiatric and forensic evaluations

Comfortable with admissions units and rapid turnover

Willingness to cross-cover other units

Strong ability to work independently and collaboratively

BLS Healthcare Provider certification required

Adult inpatient wards (male & female)

Forensic, NGRI, and Civil patients

Long-term stays with low monthly turnover

Caseload : 40 patients per provider

Admissions / Discharges : 0-3 per month

PCP coverage provided

Full interdisciplinary team support
