Travel or Local Allied Healthcare Professional needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

CT Technologist - CT Tech

\n\n

Job Details : \n

  • Work night shifts on a 4x10 schedule, Monday through Thursday from 9 : 00 PM to 7 : 00 AM

    • \n

  • Multi-modality technologist position focusing on CT imaging

    • \n

  • Must maintain active status in all modalities practiced

    • \n

  • Required certifications : ARRT registered in Radiography, ARRT registered in CT, WI-DSPS radiographer license, AHA Provider BLS / CPR

    • \n

  • Assist department coordinator with clinical leadership and advanced level clinical duties

    • \n

  • Demonstrate competency in all exams performed within assigned modalities

    • \n

  • Corroborate patient clinical history with procedures and ensure proper documentation

    • \n

  • Prepare patients for procedures, provide instructions, and minimize patient anxiety

    • \n

  • Select and operate imaging equipment, image capture devices, and accessories

    • \n

  • Position patients appropriately while respecting patient comfort and ability

    • \n

  • Practice aseptic technique and administer contrast media as needed

    • \n

  • Start and maintain intravenous access when required

    • \n

  • Initiate basic life support actions when necessary

    • \n

  • Provide patient education and practical instruction for students

    • \n

  • Maintain inventory control and provide input for supply and equipment decisions

    • \n

  • Observe universal protocol, standard precautions, and appropriate patient identifiers
