Hey PCU RN, here are the requirements and description for this position : \n\n \n\n- Must have Cardiac PCU Experience\n\n- Night Shift 7p-7a, 3x12 , Weekend rotation\n\n- 13 weeks\n\n- Must be comfortable with 1.5 ratios\n\n- Complete Pass / Fail EKG exam\n\n- First Time Travelers Accepted \n\n- Previous Charge RN Experience Peffered\n\n- BLS, ACLS required, NIH preffered\n\n- Tele on the unit monitoring \n\n \n\n \n\n REQUIRED SKILLS : \n\nInterpretation and Mgmt of dysrhythmias, Telemetry -on the unit monitoring, Pre / Post Cardiac Cath,Peripheral Line Care and Management, PICC line management, Manage Cardiac drips- no titration, Manage Vasoactive drips-no titration, Procedural Sedation Administration, Titrate Cardiac drips, Titrate Vasoactive drips, Chest tubes-Emerson, Pleur-evac, External CPAP BIPAP, Tracheostomy Management Focus on the cardiac patient (Congestive Heart Failure, Acute Coronary Syndrome, Arrythmias, pre and post cardiac catheterization with and without intervention, rule out myocardial infarction, arrythmias, syncope, pacemaker placement). Secondary focus on respiratory problems (ex. COPD, pneumonia, Bipap)\n\n \n\n Facility Description : \n\n \n\n- 2A is a 30-private bed Cardiac Medical Progressive Care department that provides care 7 days a week 24 hours a day. Rooms are remotely monitored by the Centralized Cardiac Monitoring Department (CCMD).\n
