We are seeking a motivated and creative Design Coordinator for a customer in Whitestown, Indiana. The Design Coordinator is a great opportunity for someone with strong skills in floor layouts, 2D AutoCAD, and space planning who thrives in a collaborative environment.

Location : Whitestown, Indiana

Pay : $25-27 / hr

Responsibilities :

  • Develop and produce detailed CAD drawings and plans for interior and architectural designs.
  • Partner in space planning to optimize layouts and traffic flow.
  • Ensure all design solutions are ADA compliant and meet project requirements.
  • Interpret and apply architectural plans and construction documents.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver exceptional design outcomes.
  • Tackle design challenges with problem-solving skills and creativity.

Qualifications :

  • Proficiency in AutoCAD software for 2D drawings.
  • Knowledge of interior design principles and space planning.
  • Understanding of ADA compliance requirements.
  • Ability to read and interpret architectural and construction documents.
  • Strong technical skills with measurements and drawings.
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving abilities.

    • Preferred Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in interior design, Architecture, or related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 2–5 years of hands-on experience with 2D AutoCAD drawings, including placement plans, reflected ceiling plans, demolition plans, elevations, and finish schedules.
