Inventory & Warehouse Clerk

Essential Healthcare Solutions is seeking Inventory & Warehouse Clerks who are responsible for ensuring the secure and efficient flow of supplies within an ICE detention facility. This role combines hands-on warehouse duties with inventory tracking and documentation, ensuring that all materials from detainee provisions to medical and operational supplies are properly received, stored, and distributed in compliance with federal standards and facility protocols.
Responsibilities
- Receive, unload, and inspect incoming shipments for accuracy and damage.
- Organize and stock supplies in designated storage areas.
- Assist with packaging, labeling, and preparing outgoing shipments.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized warehouse environment.
- Track inventory levels using facility systems and manual logs.
- Conduct routine cycle counts and reconcile discrepancies.
- Update inventory records and assist with audits and inspections.
- Monitor expiration dates and report low-stock or obsolete items.
- Maintain accurate records of incoming and outgoing materials.
- Verify shipment contents against packing lists and purchase orders.
- Assist in preparing inventory reports for supervisors and compliance teams.
- Collaborate with medical, food service, and administrative departments to fulfill supply requests.
- Communicate with vendors and delivery personnel as needed.
- Support emergency stock deployment and logistics during critical incidents.
Job Requirements
High school diploma or equivalent required.1–3 years of experience in warehouse or inventory roles, preferably in institutional or government settings.Familiarity with inventory software and basic data entry.Ability to lift to 50 lbs and work in a physically active environment.Must pass background checks and maintain security clearance.Must be at least 21 years of age.Must be a US citizen or permanent resident and have resided in the US for 3 years in the past 5 years.Preferred Qualifications
DHS or ICE experienceCPR / First Aid certificationForklift or pallet jack certificationBasic knowledge of ICE Performance-Based National Detention Standards (PBNDS)Strong attention to detail and organizational skillsAbility to work independently and as part of a team.Has undergone a federal investigation at the level of Tier 2 or higher; has been granted favorable suitability / eligibility and has not had a break in service for more than 24 months.Ability to travelPhysical Requirements and Work Conditions
Ability to ascend / descend stairsHigh-security detention facility with strict access protocols.Exposure to varying temperatures and physical activity.May require weekend shifts or emergency response availability.Work Hours : Shifts (7 am – 4 pm; 4 pm – 12 am; 12 am – 7 am)
Salary : $15 / hr.
