Salary : 80,000 to 90,000 plus Bonus

Our client, a nationally recognized company, is seeking a Senior Accountant to join their team at a key Florida site. This is a high-impact role for a detail-oriented finance professional looking to grow within a stable, growth-focused organization.

As a Senior Accountant, you'll be instrumental in driving financial accuracy, supporting leadership, and ensuring timely reporting for key operational units. This Senior Accountant will be exposed to cross-functional collaboration, special projects, and leadership visibility.

What the Senior Accountant will do :

The Senior Accountant will support the month-end close process, including journal entries, reconciliations, and financial reporting

Prepare and review financial statements in accordance with US GAAP

Collaborate with department leaders to ensure budget accuracy and expense control

Maintain internal controls and assist with compliance and audit readiness

The Senior Accountant will participate in variance analysis and support ad hoc financial reporting

Assist with system improvements and streamline accounting workflows

Mentor junior accounting team members as needed

What the company needs in a Senior Accountant :

Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required

Minimum of 5 years of progressive accounting experience

CPA preferred, not required

Strong foundation in GAAP, internal controls, and month-end close processes

The Senior Accountant should be proficient in Excel and ERP / accounting software

Aerospace or manufacturing industry experience is a plus
