job_description.job_card.job_descriptionProvide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities. Monitor and control access to the location, verifying credentials and granting entry to authorized personnel and / or visitors. Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols. Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential security-related concerns. Document and report any security-related incidents, irregularities, or suspicious activity according to company and client procedures. Collaborate with site personnel and Allied Universal management to address security-related needs and / or concerns specific to the technology, media, and telecom environment. Remain alert to changes in the environment and adapt to evolving security-related requirements as needed. Availability across various days and shifts Reliability and ability to adapt to different post assignments A desire to gain broad experience and grow within the company Interest in transitioning into full-time roles when available Access control and badge experience is preferred. CPR certification is preferred. Customer service experience is preferred. Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred. This position is primarily a driving post and is preferred for candidates comfortable with driving. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. Job Description
As a Security Officer - Media Access Control in Manassas, VA , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech / Media / Telecom, and more.
As an Access Control Officer with Allied Universal at a leading technology and media location, you will monitor entrances, check credentials, and help to deter security-related incidents by maintaining a strong presence. Your role involves conducting routine patrols, providing exceptional customer service, and communicating clearly with visitors and staff. - Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
- Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
- Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
- Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise
