Quality Assurance Supervisor

  • Location : Chicago (60624)
  • Salary : $75,000 - $85,000 | Full-Time
  • Day shift 6am - 3pm
  • Food Industry Experience Needed

We’re seeking an experienced

Quality Assurance Supervisor / Quality Manager

to lead

Food Safety , quality assurance, and regulatory compliance in our manufacturing facility.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Oversee all Quality and Food Safety programs including HACCP, BRC, and Sanitation
  • Lead audit readiness for third-party inspections
  • Supervise QA Technicians and ensure staffing, training, and performance standards
  • Manage Environmental Monitoring, Hold & Release, and Document Control programs
  • Investigate consumer complaints and drive continuous improvement initiatives
  • Act as primary liaison with sanitation vendors and chemical suppliers
  • Support gluten-free, MSC / ASC, and labeling compliance programs

    • Requirements :

  • Bachelor’s in Food Science or related field (or equivalent experience)
  • 2+ years in Quality leadership in food manufacturing
  • HACCP and PCQI certification required
  • Strong knowledge of BRC, GFSI, FDA regulations
  • Experience with 3rd party audits and QA systems
  • Excellent communication, organization, and Microsoft Office skills

    • Work Environment :

    Must be comfortable working on the production floor, including cold or wet environments. Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
