Job Title

Key Responsibilities Include :
- Deliver accurate, timely, and flexible ad hoc and portfolio management reports
- Develop adhoc reports in accordance with company standards and management guidance
- Connect and extract data from various sources (databases, SaaS Platform, files, etc.)
- Identify and assist in resolving inconsistencies or problems concerning data accuracy or mortgage servicing
- Extract, prepare and disseminate data for analysis or further processing
- Act as liaison between the mortgage sub-servicer and the bank
- Budget monitoring and reconciliation for the department
- Facilitate the transfer of funds between custodial accounts and the general ledger in relation to the GSE mortgage portfolio
- Review and reconcile monthly sub-servicer remittance invoice, which includes the preparation and recording of general ledger journal entries
- Participate in or lead special projects and assignments and perform other duties as assigned
- Assist in the development of new processes and modifications of existing processes to meet the needs of the organization's continued growth
Requirements / Skills and Qualifications :
Basic understanding of accounting principles and general ledger systemLogical thinker with problem solving skills and an aptitude for systems / technologyProficient in MS Excel; skills including knowledge of formulas, pivot tables, etc.Proficient in MS Access; skills including creating queries and understanding database relationshipsProficient working knowledge of computerized applications such as databases, spreadsheet, and specialized business applications softwarePlanning and organizational skills necessary to coordinate workload around multiple assignmentsAbility to work independently and collaborate effectively within a teamStrong analytical skills, attention to detail and multi-tasking skillsExperience in Mortgage Loan Servicing software and related systems (e.g., ICE MSP, DMI Connect, MERS, etc.) a plusExperience with general ledger system a plusExperience with Mortgage Sub-Servicing and Investor Accounting a plusFirst Horizon Corporation is a leading regional financial services company, dedicated to helping our clients, communities and associates unlock their full potential with capital and counsel.
