Position Overview

We’re seeking an experienced Behavioral Health Registered Nurse for a PRN, variable-shift opportunity in Torrance, CA. This role is ideal for nurses looking for flexibility while providing compassionate, high-quality care in an acute behavioral health setting.

Assignment Details

  • Length : PRN / As needed
  • Shift Options : Days, Nights, Weekends, and Holidays
  • Weekly Requirement : Minimum of 24 hours
  • Start Dates & Orientation : Every Thursday
  • Patient Ratios : Within California state guidelines
  • Float Requirements : Yes; flexibility is required
  • On-Call : None
  • RTO : None accepted

    • Requirements

  • Licensure : Active California RN license

    • If expired, must be renewed before start date

  • If applying for a CA license, candidates should contact their Senator’s office to expedite
  • Certifications Required :

    • MAB

  • BLS (AHA)
  • ACLS (AHA)
  • Fire Card (LA County)
  • Experience :

    • Minimum 2 years of RN experience

  • Minimum 1 year of inpatient MedSurg behavioral health experience
  • Recent acute care hospital experience strongly preferred
  • Travel experience preferred, but not required
  • COVID-19 Requirements : Full vaccination and booster (if eligible) required
