What it's like to be a Maintenance Manager at CTG?

As the Maintenance Manager at Commercial Tool Group, you'll leverage your technical acumen to lead and inspire a dedicated team of maintenance technicians. Your collaborative spirit will shine as you work closely with our four plant managers, addressing issues and strategizing for the future. By utilizing our ERP system, you'll optimize efficiencies within all maintenance functions, ensuring seamless operations across the board. You'll take charge of developing and implementing a comprehensive preventative maintenance program for all tools, machinery, and equipment, enhancing productivity and longevity.

Additionally, you'll engage with external vendors to coordinate specialized repairs and facilities upkeep, all while strategically managing the maintenance budget and negotiating the best pricing. This is an exhilarating opportunity to make a significant impact in our organization!

To thrive as a Maintenance Manager at Commercial Tool Group, a Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering, industrial maintenance, or a related field is preferred, showcasing your solid educational foundation. Proven experience in maintenance management is essential, preferably within manufacturing or tool shop environments, highlighting your ability to lead and oversee intricate maintenance operations. A strong understanding of mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and hydraulic systems is crucial to effectively address various challenges. Additionally, being IT-savvy is key; experience with ERP systems is necessary to track maintenance requests, monitor KPIs, and generate reports that drive efficiency. Your leadership skills will be vital in coaching the maintenance team while fostering a culture of innovation and collaboration.

Knowledge and skills required for the position are :

• Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering,  industrial maintenance,  or a related field is preferred.
• Proven experience in maintenance management,  preferably in a manufacturing or tool shop environment.
• Strong knowledge of mechanical,  electrical,  plumbing,  and hydraulic systems.
• IT-savvy with experience working within ERP systems
• Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Effective leadership and team management.
• Possess strong communication skills.
• Familiarity with safety regulations and compliance standards.
