Gastroenterology Physician

Inpatient Gastroenterology opening in Rapid City, SD - Full-time, permanent position - Hospital Employed opportunity - Seeking a BE / BC - Advanced GI training is a plus but not required.Overview : - Hospital (a 417-bed regional tertiary care, Level 2 Trauma Center) has a state-of-the-art endoscopy suite with experienced staff. - APP support provided 7 days a week. - You will be joining two other inpatient GI physicians. - This is a consulting service, with all admissions done by hospitalist and intensivist services. - Hepatology / transplant support provided by visiting subspecialists twice a month, and we have a full-time experienced hepatology APP. - Our GI group includes two fellowship-trained advanced GI specialists, but with this position, ERCP / EUS work on the inpatient service can be done by fully-qualified physicians who wish to do so, and additional compensation will be provided. - Epic EMR and the latest Provation for endoscopy documentation. - Experienced general surgery group with 24 / 7 in-house trauma / ACS service. - Colorectal fellowship trained surgeon joining our team fall 2025. - Pathology group includes two GI pathology fellowship-trained specialists. - Equity in joint venture endoscopy center is planned to be available by 2027.Comp / Benefits : - Base salary of $800K for 182 shifts. - Contracts for a smaller number of shifts will be considered. - Productivity bonus incentive opportunities start from day one. - Starting and retention bonuses of up to $180K. - Other benefits include paid relocation and moving allowance, CME reimbursement, paid malpractice, and a full benefits package.Location : You can have it all : a high-quality medical practice and a satisfying lifestyle in one of America's premier and growing Mountain West locations.
