Shift : On-Call Only | 0 Hour Guarantee

Weekend Requirements : On-Call as Needed

A travel RN is needed for a Cath Lab in Alpena, MI . This on-call position allows you to pick up shifts as needed, providing flexibility while delivering specialized cardiac care.

Position Overview

Provide nursing care before, during, and after angiography, interventional, and cardiac catheterization procedures

Conduct pre-procedure assessments, administer pre-medications, document cath processes, and provide post-procedure care and patient education

Scrub in for procedures and assist the Cath Lab team (preferred but not required)

Support Interventional Radiology (IR) procedures as needed

Operate equipment such as cardiac output monitors, hemodynamic devices, pacemakers / ICDs, and intraaortic balloon pumps

Stock supplies, assist with patient transfers, and perform basic office duties

Requirements

Required : Cath Lab experience

ACLS & BLS (AHA)

1+ year RN experience

Highly Preferred :

Interventional Radiology experience

Electrophysiology experience

Cardiac rhythm interpretation

Operation of intraaortic balloon pump
