Professional Liability Attorney

Overview

The Las Vegas, NV office of Lewis Brisbois, a full-service AmLaw 100 firm, is actively seeking an attorney to join its Professional Liability Practice.

The ideal candidate will have strong research and writing skills and at least two (2) to twelve (12) years of experience defending professional liability claims involving Directors & Officers, Legal Malpractice, Errors & Omissions, and Architects & Engineers. Admission to the Nevada Bar is required.

Lewis Brisbois' Professional Liability Practice is comprised of attorneys located throughout all our offices nationwide. The firm represents, by direct engagement or through insurance carrier retention, professionals including accountants, architects & engineers, attorneys, bankers, computer and media professionals (cyber law), financial planners, healthcare providers, insurance brokers and agents, school districts and municipalities, property appraisers and inspectors, real estate appraisers, brokers and agents, and securities brokers (FINRA).

While experience in professional liability law is preferred, the firm is also open to developing talented attorneys who have excellent skills in any litigation arena. Responsibilities

• Conduct legal research, draft pleadings, motions, and memoranda, and prepare for and participate in litigation related to professional liability claims.
• Represent clients in professional liability matters, including Directors & Officers, Legal Malpractice, Errors & Omissions, and Architects & Engineers cases.
• Collaborate with a nationwide team of professionals and coordinate with insurance carriers as needed.
