Job Title : Chemical Packaging Prepper

Reports To : Value Stream and Packaging Manager

Summary :
Responsible for prepping routers with the mentality of making the Packers’ job safe and efficient, reducing changeover and applying GDP in a GMP environment. Work as a team member and adhering to all rules, policies and SOP’s while striving to improve functions throughout the department. Cross training is a must within all areas of the department.

Required Skills / Abilities :
Language Skills :
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization. Fluent in English – written and oral skills required.
Mathematical Skills :
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percentage and to draw and interpret bar graphs.
Reasoning Ability :
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations and solve them.
