About the job

As an integral member of our manufacturing team, you will play a pivotal role in assembling and fabricating metal components for separation equipment. You will have the opportunity to apply your welding expertise, contribute to continuous improvement initiatives, and support the production of high-quality equipment. This is on-site opportunity located in Houston, Texas.

This is a temp-to-hire opportunity with a 90-day performance evaluation period.

As a part of the team, you will :

• Perform common welding work, including fitting, by applying heat to bond / fuse metal surfaces or parts according to Welding Procedure Specifications (WPSs)
• Use hand welding and flame cutting equipment such as arc welders, gas welders, and gas torches to assemble metal components
• Inspect existing weldments to identify areas of weakness and perform necessary repairs
• Use welding equipment to perform metal cutting / trimming work or fabricate simple fixtures
• Possess at least one welder approval certificate according to relevant standard / code
• Execute production work according to ALPS standards and actively participate in continuous improvement efforts
