Overview

This position assists the College Web Services team with designing, developing, maintaining, and troubleshooting the official College Web site using the College’s Content Management System (CMS) and a variety of applications and programming languages.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Take requests from NOVA departments to design, develop, and update pages of the NOVA website using the CMS.
• Use various applications and programming languages to maintain and troubleshoot the NOVA website.
• Create and run build tools, install, upgrade, and test the CMS and related applications.
• Assist with maintenance, upgrades, and troubleshooting of the NOVA servers.
• May be required to perform other duties as assigned and to assist the agency or state government during an emergency declaration by the Governor.
