EPIC charting experience is a hard requirement.

Candidates must be willing to float.

Candidates must reside more than 75 miles from the facility.

Description :

The Registered Nurse will provide patient care in a rehabilitation setting.

The nurse will work with diverse patient populations, including adolescents, adults, pediatrics, and geriatrics.

Common patient diagnoses include stroke, brain injuries, and spinal cord injuries.

Special equipment utilized includes Hoyer lifts and sit-to-stand lifts.

The nurse will collaborate with an interdisciplinary team, including physical therapy, respiratory services, and social services.

Patient ratios are 1 : 5 during the day and 1 : 12 at night.

Weekend coverage is required every other weekend.

This position involves direct patient interaction and ensuring high-quality care in an acute rehab environment.

Travelers are encouraged to apply, as the unit accepts first-time travelers.

The role provides an opportunity to develop skills in acute rehabilitation nursing.
