Job Description (General Summary)

Laitram Machinery, Inc. has a position available for a Mechanical Assembly Technician. Primary responsibilities include mechanical assembly and acceptance test of stainless steel seafood processing equipment (as well as other mechanical food processing equipment); engineering drawings will be provided to guide assembly.

Job Responsibilities and Requirements

Responsibilities :

• Assemble mechanical equipment consistent with engineering drawings; document and report issues / deviations affecting form, fit or function
• Perform QC check from list provided and document results
• Use computer software to perform transactions and capture labor to each job
• Build small assemblies and large-scale seafood and poultry equipment and conveying systems
• Build shipping / crating skids for national / international equipment shipping
