Overview :
The Food Lab Techncian will work in an R&D environment on convenience and beverage applications.
Responsibilities :
- Assist in bench-top and pilot plant processing e.g. ingredient scale-up, getting equipment ready before testing, and post-test clean-up
- Perform basic physical and analytical analysis
- Ability to manage multiple tasks on a deadline basis
- Maintain ingredient and chemical storage in accordance with food safety guidelines
- Maintain pilot plant equipment and all areas utilized by lab
- Comply with food safety and EH&S policies
- Check supplies and order as necessary
