OB / GYN Physician (Nashville)

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate OB / GYN Physician to join our dynamic team at Nashville General Hospital (NGH) . As an integral member of our healthcare team, you will provide high-quality obstetric and gynecological care to women of all ages, from adolescence through menopause and beyond.

We are Nashvilles original community - based hospital. Joint Commission accredited, NGH readily accommodates a wide range of needs from emergency services and acute care to ancillary and ambulatory services. NGH continues to maintain its strong commitment to the healthcare needs of Nashville and Davidson County underserved, while also providing care to all segments of the community

Responsibilities :

• Patient Care : Provide comprehensive obstetric and gynecological care including routine and high-risk pregnancies, preventive care, diagnosis, treatment, and management of various conditions related to womens health.
• Clinical Duties : Conduct physical exams, order and interpret diagnostic tests, perform surgeries, and provide prenatal and postnatal care.
• Patient Education : Educate patients on preventive care, family planning, contraceptive options, and overall reproductive health.
• Collaboration : Work closely with other healthcare professionals, including nurses, midwives, and specialists, to deliver coordinated care.
• Record Keeping : Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, ensuring compliance with all legal and ethical standards.
• Emergency Care : Respond to emergency situations and provide critical care when necessary.
• Continuing Education : Stay current with advances in the field of obstetrics and gynecology through ongoing education and training.
