This position is posted by Jobgether on behalf of a partner company. We are currently looking for a Staff AI Engineer, Agent Orchestration in United States.

This is a high-impact role for an experienced engineer to lead the development of next-generation agentic systems that bring Generative AI into every stage of the software delivery lifecycle. You will design and scale intelligent tools and orchestration frameworks that empower developers, automate workflows, and enable AI-native engineering practices. By blending full-stack engineering expertise with cutting-edge LLM systems design, you will transform CI / CD, observability, and runtime operations. Working cross-functionally with product, infra, and data teams, you will pioneer automation strategies that accelerate productivity, reduce errors, and build self-healing, insight-driven engineering ecosystems.

Accountabilities

  • Architect and deliver full-stack AI-driven systems using Kotlin, Python, React / TypeScript, and AWS tooling.
  • Operationalize LLMs and agent frameworks to automate the full software lifecycle : requirements parsing, code generation, testing, deployment, and analytics.
  • Develop orchestration patterns for multi-agent systems, including planning, tool use, and memory capabilities.
  • Embed AI into developer workflows : TDD automation, PR summarization, AI-assisted code reviews, and contextual documentation retrieval.
  • Extend CI / CD pipelines with intelligent features such as dependency impact prediction and build-time telemetry analysis.
  • Instrument observability platforms with AI-native capabilities for anomaly detection, log analysis, and root cause identification.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to identify AI-native opportunities and prioritize impactful projects.
  • Mentor engineers, contribute to architecture reviews, and influence technical direction across teams.

Requirements

  • 7+ years of experience designing and building distributed back-end services in Kotlin (or Java) and modern TypeScript frontends.
  • Strong production-grade Python engineering skills, from design to deployment.
  • Hands-on experience deploying LLM / GenAI features to production, including fine-tuning, evaluation, optimization, and safety alignment.
  • Deep understanding of modern software delivery practices, including TDD / BDD, CI / CD, and observability.
  • Demonstrated leadership in driving automation and AI adoption within engineering organizations.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to convey complex technical concepts to technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Preferred :

  • Full-stack expertise in Kotlin and React.
  • Experience with multi-agent LLM systems (memory, reasoning, planning).
  • Familiarity with RAG pipelines, embeddings, semantic caching.
  • Background in high-growth or startup environments.
