$32.00 / hr - $39.00 / hr

What You Will Do :

• As a structural EIT, you will be part of a team performing bridge design and other structural projects for a diverse range of clients including cities, counties, states, and private entities.
• You will work under Professional Engineers to deliver efficient, quality-focused designs.
• Your responsibilities include performing structural calculations for new and existing structures, collaborating with engineering technicians on drawings, developing project specifications, participating in structural inspections, and writing reports on inspections and evaluations. While bridge projects will constitute most of your work, you will also design and analyze retaining walls, buildings, hydraulic structures such as tanks, dams, and weirs.
• You will initially be supervised directly by Professional Engineers. As you gain experience, your independent judgment and the complexity of tasks will increase.
