The Department of Neurology at UTSW is ranked among the nation's top 20 hospitals for neurology and neurosurgery (#19) and among the top three academic medical centers in the 16-state Southeast and Southwest, home to approximately 40% of the US population. As such, UT Southwestern is a prime location for specialized neurological care across a vast region of the US.

Opportunity Highlights

• Join a team of 9 neuromuscular neurologists
• Focus 100% on neuromuscular neurology with the option to develop a subspecialty focus if desired
• Incorporate general neurology during inpatient service weeks if desired
• Teach and mentor students, residents, and fellows through clinical education and lectures
• Participate in some clinical research and trials to advance neuromuscular treatments
• Work alongside nationally and internationally recognized leaders in myasthenia gravis, skeletal muscle channelopathies, autonomic disorders, and myopathies
• Be part of a nationally ranked neurology department recognized as No. 19 in the country
