A company is looking for a FIPS 140 Security Engineer to support national defense through IT security projects.

Key Responsibilities

Work on varied FIPS 140 validation projects including general security analysis and design work

Conduct vulnerability testing and physical security testing, along with product evaluations against Technology Type standards

Perform cryptographic testing, source code reviews, and technical report writing while developing applications to support test cases

Required Qualifications

Cryptographic Validation Program (CVP) Certification

Knowledge of cryptographic encryption algorithms and key exchange algorithms

Experience with programming languages such as C, C++, Python, or Java

Familiarity with network setup, subnetting, and routing concepts

Experience in building testing environments and performing technical writing
