We are seeking a Board Certified / Board Eligible Pediatric Hospitalist Physician to join our newborn and labor / delivery team in Sedalia, Missouri. The position involves covering newborn rounds, consulting with the Emergency Department, and teaching medical students. Health Center, located just one hour from Kansas City in Sedalia, Missouri, is seeking a Board Certified / Board Eligible Pediatrician to join their newborn and labor / delivery hospitalist team.

• Hospital licensed for 100+ beds with approximately 400 deliveries per year
• Cover newborn rounds, attend unscheduled C-sections, consult with Emergency Department
• Little to no pediatric in-patient coverage
• Hospital can provide moonlighting by employment or by independent contractor agreement
• Hospital will provide malpractice and tail at 2m / 6m, if needed
• Variety in shifts or shift blocks available
• Teach medical students in the University of Missouri Longitudinal Training (LINC) program and residents in Family Medicine Residency
• All codes answered by Emergency Department
