This opportunity, starting on Sep 8, 2025, involves day shifts from Monday to Friday, 8 : 30 AM to 4 : 00 PM. The role entails visiting assisted living and nursing home facilities, conducting eye exams, and providing follow-up care recommendations. Job Details Location : Tennessee Start Date : Sep 8, 2025 LOA : 18 days Provider Type Needed : Optometrist Schedule : Monday to Friday, 8 : 30 AM - 4 : 00 PM Responsibilities and Duties Conduct comprehensive eye examinations Diagnose and treat ocular diseases Prescribe, fit, and adjust eyeglasses Advise patients, their families, and facility staff on necessary follow-up care Visit multiple locations within the designated area to provide care Additional Information Geriatric experience or interest and previous nursing home experience preferred Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required No prescribing of medications required Flexibility in work days; days can be consecutive or spread throughout the week Apply now to learn more!
