Description
Cultivation Agents are not only the caretakers of beautiful budding plants but help keep the plants healthy and on schedule as they get closer to harvest. How? By working closely with the Cultivation Manager and regularly inspecting plants for any kinds of disease, deficiencies, insets, mold, etc.
On the daily
- Expected to work all scheduled work days, during scheduled hours and report to work on time.
- Assist with plant management, including but not limited to fertilization, insect and disease monitoring, sanitation, and overall plant growth, health, and appearance in the grow rooms.
- Monitor and maintain quality control measures in accordance with State and local laws.
- At the direction of management, clone, trim, prune, top and train plants.
- Maintain a clean and safe working environment within the facility and production areas.
- Follow company policies and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
- Keep Cultivation Managers informed of any system discrepancies.
- Inspect plants for any diseases, deficiencies, insects, and mold, reporting concerns to management for remediation.
- Follow plant schedules to keep an accurate forecast of plant and production needs.
- Catalog, track, and organize plants from clone-to-harvest using the track and trace system.
- Sterilize cultivation equipment and tools, including light reflectors, containers, and ventilation equipment.
- Update grow logs with nutrient and / or substance application to any plants within the facility.
- Support additional cultivation and harvest teams as needed to meet facility production goals.
You're a great fit if
Ability to follow instruction and perform repetitive tasks.Minimum of 1 year working experience, preferably in a warehouse, production, or manufacturing setting. (Cultivation is a plus)Basic knowledge of plant structure and horticulture preferred.Have a positive attitude and work well with others in a team.Curious and willing to learn how to operate and maintain facility equipment in a safe manner.Must be comfortable with heights, soil and water, and narrow spaces.Able to safely climb, squat, bend, twist, kneel and stand for at least 8 hours per day, and lift up to 50 pounds.Must be 21 years of age or older, and able to successfully register with the state’s cannabis commission as an agent.Must comply with all laws, regulations, and policies associated with the industry.Benefits
