As a Senior DevSecOps Engineer, you will play a critical role in designing, implementing, and maintaining secure, scalable, and automated software delivery pipelines for cloud-based applications. You will ensure security is integrated at every stage of the development lifecycle while supporting high-availability, compliant systems for enterprise environments. Working closely with developers, system administrators, and cybersecurity teams, you will lead initiatives to optimize deployment, monitoring, and disaster recovery processes. Accountabilities
- Lead the design, implementation, and management of secure Continuous Integration / Continuous Deployment (CI / CD) pipelines for SaaS environments.
- Integrate security best practices across the software development lifecycle through automated vulnerability scanning, code analysis, and compliance checks.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to architect highly available, scalable, and compliant cloud-based solutions.
- Maintain and optimize infrastructure-as-code deployments, configuration management, and patching processes across multiple environments.
- Ensure all systems and services comply with RMF, NIST 800-53, IL4, FedRAMP, and other cybersecurity standards.
- Automate monitoring, backup, disaster recovery, and business continuity strategies to maintain resilient operations.
- Assess and mitigate risks associated with software supply chains, open-source components, and third-party integrations.
- Document DevSecOps processes, provide training, and mentor junior DevSecOps and development team members.
- Evaluate and recommend new tools and technologies to improve automation, monitoring, and security.
- Participate in Agile sprints and collaborate across teams to align DevSecOps activities with overall project goals.
Requirements
Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Information Systems, Engineering, or related field.Minimum 7 years of experience in DevOps / DevSecOps roles, with at least 3 years supporting cloud-based SaaS solutions in DoD, federal, or critical infrastructure environments.Proven expertise in deploying and managing secure CI / CD pipelines, container orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes), and infrastructure-as-code tools (Terraform, Ansible).Hands-on experience with security automation tools for code analysis, vulnerability scanning, and compliance validation.Deep knowledge of FedRAMP, NIST 800-53, RMF, and DoD cloud / security controls.Proficiency with cloud platforms (AWS GovCloud, Azure Government, or equivalent).Strong scripting skills (Python, Bash, PowerShell) and version control experience (Git, GitLab).Excellent problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.Preferred : Master’s degree in Information Security, Computer Science, or related domain; experience with CAFM or facilities management SaaS solutions; conducting ATO packages; certifications such as CDP, CKA, AWS / Azure DevOps, Security+, CISSP, or GIAC DevSecOps; familiarity with Section 508 and secure software supply chain practices; experience leading or mentoring DevSecOps teams.U.S. citizenship required.Benefits
