Job Title : Electrical Maintenance Technician

Job Description

We are seeking dedicated Electrical Maintenance Technicians to join our team and support specific areas of our plant, including the cold mill, hot mill, cast house, element 13, or roll shop. This position involves working in a heavy industrial environment, requiring previous mechanical maintenance experience in such settings.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative and corrective maintenance.
• Install new equipment and ensure proper functionality.
• Work with rolling mills, conveyors, CNC machines, casting equipment, furnaces, and other industrial machinery.
• Troubleshoot and repair PLCs, AC / DC drives, and 3-phase motors.
• Commission equipment and perform electrical installations and repairs.
• Handle high voltage equipment, switchgears, and generators.

Work Environment

Work in a heavy industrial setting with exposure to the elements, including high temperatures during the summer and cold conditions in winter. Our large campus offers diverse departments, each with its own manager and training program. While on-site, it is tobacco-free and jewelry is not permitted. The schedule involves night shifts with a 3-2-2 rotation from 6 : 30 PM to 6 : 30 AM, with potential for shift changes after one year.

This is a Permanent position based out of Muscle Shoals, Alabama.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $58240.00 - $79040.00 / yr.
