Job Title : Solutions Architect Location : Charlotte, NC; Richmond, VA; Kennesaw, GA Work Arrangement : Hybrid Client Industry : Banking Duration : 12-18 Months (Possibility of Full-Time Conversion) About the Role : We are seeking an experienced and highly adaptable Solutions Architect to join our team. This role will partner with business leaders, technical teams, and external vendors to design scalable, flexible, and cutting-edge solutions that enhance employee experiences. You will translate complex technology challenges into practical solutions, ensure architectural alignment, and guide the implementation of high-impact technology initiatives. Key Responsibilities : Serve as a Solution Architect, communicating technical solutions through roadmaps, conceptual diagrams, and solution documents. Partner with internal and external teams to design scalable, modular, and future-ready solutions. Collaborate across the organization to define and execute the Employee Experience technical vision. Ensure solutions are fit-for-purpose by evaluating strategic design decisions with stakeholders, vendors, and service providers. Analyze existing technologies and recommend improvements to enhance efficiency, security, and scalability. Influence and negotiate technology decisions across business and IT organizations. Work across third-party applications and internally developed solutions to address business needs. Consult with business units to understand challenges, conduct practical experiments, and create proofs-of-concept (POCs). Ensure architecture conforms to enterprise patterns, practices, and policies. What We’re Looking For : 10+ years of experience in the IT industry, with at least 4 years in Solutions Architecture or Technical Architecture. Strong understanding of firewall rules and threat modeling. Proficient in data flow diagramming; PPT expertise required, Visio a plus. Previous development experience in .NET or Java. Solid API and Integration Architecture experience from a holistic enterprise perspective. Financial industry experience preferred. Excellent communication, influencing, and soft skills Adaptable, collaborative, and creative problem solver. Compensation : Hourly Rate : $65– $70 per hour This range reflects base compensation and may vary based on location, market conditions, experience, and candidate qualifications.
