About The Position

Certifications : BLS, PALS, BSSR Attestation

Must-Have :

• Experience in sedation of patients, trach, intubated patients, and CRRT management
• Strong communication skills and customer service aptitude
• Ability to float within the facility as needed

Description :

Bedside shift reporting and utilization of AIDET are required for this unit and all nursing units.

Hourly rounding is also expected.

The nursing staff will be required to sign an attestation confirming awareness of these requirements.

This position requires floating to pediatric departments.

Communication skills with AIDET and great customer service are essential.

Candidates must have experience with sedation of patients, trach, intubated patients, and minimal CRRT.

Knowledge of ICP monitoring and management is necessary.

The patient ratio during day shifts will be 2 patients per nurse.

Daily census includes neonates, infants, adolescents, and pediatric patients.

Special procedures include managing respiratory, neuro, surgical, orthopedic, and trauma cases.

Staffing includes interdisciplinary support such as physical therapy and respiratory services.

All required certifications must be current and valid prior to the start date.

Candidates will be expected to manage and care for ventilated patients extensively.

The unit is equipped with specialized equipment like vents, vapotherm, and central lines.

References from previous supervisors are required for submission.

Candidates must comply with health and safety regulations, including infection control protocols.
