Inland Truck Parts & Service is looking to hire a Diesel Mechanic / Truck Technician . Minimum of two years of experience required. Pay : Starting at $28.00-$35.00 / hour, depending on experience.

Job Responsibilities for a Service Technician / Diesel Mechanic

Work schedule : Monday – Friday, 8 : 00-5 : 00, NO WEEKENDS!

The position will involve, but not be limited to, the following :

• Perform maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs on class 6 to class 8 heavy-duty trucks
• Excellent troubleshooting capabilities within all heavy-duty truck and trailer systems componentry. For example : hydraulics, engines, electrical, drive train, suspension, HVAC, braking systems, etc.
• Proactively maintain a safe and clean work environment
• Work independently, as well as part of a team

Preference given to candidates who are self-motivated, have a positive can-do attitude, detail oriented , possess strong problem-solving skills with the ability to learn new skills quickly, and a desire for career advancement.
