Workers' Compensation Specialist

Our client is seeking a detail-oriented and compassionate Workers' Compensation Specialist to manage employee injury claims and safety programs with professionalism and care. The ideal candidate is highly organized, proactive in communication, and adept at balancing compliance requirements with empathy when supporting employees through recovery and return-to-work processes. This role requires exceptional interpersonal skills, discretion, and the ability to collaborate effectively across departments.

This role is onsite in Whittier, California.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate all aspects of workers' compensation claims, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance with regulations.
• Serve as the primary liaison between employees, management, healthcare providers, and third-party administrators.
• Monitor and manage employee return-to-work and modified duty programs in collaboration with HR.
• Maintain accurate OSHA documentation, claim files, and related reports to ensure data integrity and compliance.
• Identify trends and safety issues, providing recommendations for injury prevention and ergonomic improvements.

Qualifications

Compensation : $28-$35 / hr. (DOE)
