ARMStaffing is seeking a travel Respiratory Therapist for a travel job in Baltimore, Maryland.

Respiratory Therapist RRT NICU / PICU\n\n

Assignment Duration\n

This is a 13-week contract position.

\n\nSchedule\n

Night shift, 4x12 hours (19 : 00 - 07 : 30), with a patient ratio of 1 : 12.

\n\nJob Description\n

The Respiratory Therapist RRT NICU / PICU will provide specialized respiratory care for critically ill neonates and pediatric patients in a Level 4 NICU and pediatric setting. This role requires proficient clinical skills and the ability to manage advanced respiratory therapies.

\n\nResponsibilities\n \n

  • Perform a range of procedures, including nebulizer treatments, intubation, and ventilator management.

    • \n

  • Assist in high-risk deliveries and provide support to neonatal transports.

    • \n

  • Conduct patient assessments, including drawing and interpreting arterial blood gases (ABGs).

    • \n

  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality critical care respiratory therapy.

    • \n

  • Administer various aerosolized medications and therapies as directed in treatment protocols.

    • \n \n\nRequired Experience / Certifications / Licensure\n \n

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in a NICU / PICU setting preferred; first-time travelers with strong skills are accepted.

    • \n

  • Current certifications : RRT, ACLS, BLS, PALS, NRP, and state licensure required.

    • \n

  • Preferred charting experience in Epic and prior charge experience.
